The last 2 years, the UP MACUL conference has been in Houghton, and had record attendance. This year, it's moving to Kingsford.
REMC has some grant funds we can use to help get teachers to the UP MACUL conference.
If we can get enough teachers to make it worthwhile, we can provide a charter bus for only $10 per person, starting in Hancock and picking up along the way.
MACUL is anticipating another record year, with 400-500 teachers attending. It's hopeful this conference will continue to grow and become even more valuable.
The call for presenters is still open, and session details are not yet available, but there is some info on the registration page linked http://sl.remc1.org/upmaculbus
